U-Multirank's unique 'Sunburst chart' gives an illustration of a university's performance profile across the five U-Multirank dimensions. These are indicated in different colours. For instance, the teaching and learning dimension is symbolised by the colour green. Each 'sunray' represents one of the thirty plus U-Multirank indicators. The longer the ray, the better the performance of an institution on the selected indicator: a full-length ray stands for 'top group' performance, whereas a short ray means 'weak' performance. A missing sunray indicates that the specific data indicator is not available. An institution's performance in an indicator can be identified by moving the cursor over the rays. A key guard for the sunburst chart is provided here .

The master is primarily oriented to practical training in the field of business management. Its main attractive lies in the teaching methodology, essentially oriented to the analysis and solution of the problems that business managers normally encounter in their daily routine; thus, the basis is the development of group dynamics in order to reproduce the real functioning of a company. Industrial Engineering is a generalist profession that has a global vision of the industry. Within the vision that is provided in this title, in a first phase, the first two courses prepare students with subjects that are common to the different disciplines of Industrial Engineering. The title is oriented in its second half to some aspects of Industrial Engineering, mainly those that have to do with energy and advanced manufacturing technologies. This allows us to create two areas of expertise that are Energy and Smart Industry.

In these studies the student is prepared for the process of designing, manufacturing and executing projects for both ships and oceanic devices. They are also prepared for the tasks of maintenance during the life of the ship. Another aspect covered in this title is the propulsion which in turn requires knowledge of the mechanics and other functions of the ship. The other systems, whether electrical or electronic, are also part of the training acquired in this title. Simultaneously they receive the training of the Mechanical Engineer, so their training in these aspects is of greater depth.

Mathematics is a basic and fundamental science necessary for most of the other sciences (such as Physics, Astronomy, Economics, etc.) and engineering that need it to be fully developed. Any technological advance is based on the proper use of mathematics. Nowadays, interconnections with Economics, Biology, Medicine, Geology, Optics, etc. have increased exponentially, where mathematical modelling and the computation of efficient algorithms are giving rise to great scientific, technical and social advances.
