U-Multirank's unique 'Sunburst chart' gives an illustration of a university's performance profile across the five U-Multirank dimensions. These are indicated in different colours. For instance, the teaching and learning dimension is symbolised by the colour green. Each 'sunray' represents one of the thirty plus U-Multirank indicators. The longer the ray, the better the performance of an institution on the selected indicator: a full-length ray stands for 'top group' performance, whereas a short ray means 'weak' performance. A missing sunray indicates that the specific data indicator is not available. An institution's performance in an indicator can be identified by moving the cursor over the rays. A key guard for the sunburst chart is provided here .

This University Master's Degree aims to provide research training oriented to Advanced Analysis of Multivariate Data, and to the exploration of some of the fundamental areas of application of the methods without the need to study in depth the mathematical foundations of all of them. It offers students an offer of research topics in various application areas demanded by official bodies, research institutes, companies, hospitals, industries, etc. And thus, the program is directed more to the training of analysts than to the training of experts in specific areas of application.

This degree qualifies to practice the regulated profession of doctor. The studies last 6 full courses of which the first three have a semester design and the last three are designed on a quarterly basis. This organization derives from the need to develop supervised practices on a quarterly basis using different hospitals and primary care centers. Numerous researchers work at the Faculty and related centers. The Salamanca Biomedical Research Institute (IBSAL) can be highlighted. Students in this degree have excellent practical options.

The main objective of the Program is to train future researchers in the field of Neurosciences: that students acquire the theoretical knowledge and practical experience necessary and sufficient to subsequently develop a scientific career in the field of Neurosciences. It is taken over an academic year, so the subjects are divided into semesters. It does not have compulsory external internships, since its training is rather theoretical aimed at further training and research. The Institute of Neurosciences of Castilla y León (Incyl) stands out.

It is aimed at the training of specialists in lasers in general, but with special attention to the field of high power and ultrashort pulses. Although it is an eminently practical training, it also includes a very relevant part of the theoretical foundations of applied optics. It has a strong experimental component that is developed, at USAL, in the teaching laboratories of the Optics Area (experiences of basic and advanced optics and basic experiences of physics and technology of lasers), in the specific laboratory of intense lasers, etc.
